A romantic comedy-drama by Jacob Roberts-Mensah (DEM TIMES) with a live performance directed by Jessica Kaliisa (Queens of Sheba). It follows the budding relationship between Nana Akua, a British-Ghanaian Highlife music enthusiast, and Michael, a Native Ghanaian musician.

Nana Akua is in Accra for the Christmas holidays. Along with her December enjoyment plans, Nana Akua hopes to discover and learn more about her heritage, culture, and the music that her father also made her fall in love with. On a night out with her best friend Doreen, Nana Akua meets Michael, who falls for her.

Highlife Romance is an ode to music, highlighting its impact on identity as well as its ability to unify people with different experiences.
