Founded by Jane Wheeler of Living Song in 2012 following a massed singing event at the Southbank to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, New Young Voice Collective (NewYVC) is a choir for 11-25 year olds under the musical direction of Naveen Arles.

Now part of the Spitalfields Music family, NewYVC aims to develop the musicianship of its members utilising an empowering and collaborative pedagogy. The choir meets weekly in Stratford and is free to attend. Former choir members who have gone on to forge successful performing careers are currently touring with Dua Lipa and working on ABBA Voyage and with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
