Unexpected Fluids

Let’s be honest, sex rarely looks like it does in the movies. Unexpected Fluids is Radio 1’s messiest new podcast, telling real-life embarrassing stories of when sex gets sloppy, goes floppy and a little bit wrong.

From uninvited people walking in to bizarre requests from online dates to every single fluid you can imagine, join Riyadh Khalaf and Alix Fox for an eye-wateringly honest and hilarious recording in which there’s no such thing as over-sharing.

Riyadh Khalaf is a presenter and YouTube content creator. He is best known for fronting the ground-breaking BBC Three documentary series Queer Britain which received both critical and public acclaim for its punchy exploration of the issues facing the LGBTQ+ community in the UK.

Alix Fox is an award-winning journalist, broadcaster and sex educator. Presenter of The Guardian’s Close Encounters podcast and resident sex and relationships advisor on The Modern Mann show (both named Silver Podcast of the Year, Audio & Radio Industry Awards), Alix is also Ambassador for Brook.

Please note this show is suitable for adults aged 18 or over.
